We're rolling out a subscription as part of our new product offering. What's this all about and how can it benefit you?

Service as a product
Lately, there’s been more talk about "Service as a Product" (SaaP), where clients subscribe to a designer's services instead of paying per project or maintaining a retainer. This model allows clients unlimited design requests, which the designer fulfills at a consistent pace. It’s an appealing setup: clients access substantial work for a reasonable fee, while designers benefit from a steady stream of income. Ideally, when expectations are in sync, it’s a win-win situation. However, motion design might not be the best fit for this model. It’s complex and can consume resources fast, making the promise of unlimited requests for a flat fee risky.
Building partnerships
So, where does our model come in? I see value in a subscription model for building partnerships, especially with organizations and brands seeking motion design support but lacking the budget for in-house (senior) motion designers.
The subscription isn’t an all you can eat buffet. It’s tailored for short-form content like social media posts, animated illustrations, icons, and loops. For design agencies, branding animations, UX/UI animations, and interactive animations can be valuable assets.
It’s perfect for those who have a vision, a style, and maybe even some motion work they want to expand on. The aim is to comprehensively support your strategy. Book a call to see if this is something for you.
Do you have a unique consistent need? Book a call to discuss.
Subscriber option
For now, there are two subscription tiers, differing mainly in the number of active requests a client can make. Subscribers gain access to a personal dashboard with a Kanban board setup to manage the tasks. To streamline communication and minimize call time, communication occurs primarily through this portal. The portal supports attachments like Looms or other recordings. Tasks are completed within one to three working days. We revise until you are satisfied, and then we move one to the next task. Once every few weeks, we have an alignment call.
